Meet the Team

Anthony Peters

Anthony started working on the farm through high school in his Dad’s transportation/hay business.  After graduating, he continued to work on the farm and with the hay.  After being out of high school for two years he moved to the truck hauling.  He became a driver at age 20 for his dad.  At this point he was gaining experience with the entire business.  He did this for four years and added a partnership to his resume.  He became a partner with his Dad in 1988 and continued to drive truck/squeeze.   In 1993, Anthony became the sole owner of Anthony Peters Trucking.  He has since continued doing all functions in the company.  He is now focusing strictly in sales, as the company has developed more structure in it’s present state.  Anthony knows the entire business inside and out but is settling in with teaching others all of the knowledge that he has in the industry, which couldn’t possibly be replaced by one person.

Natalie Flanagan

Finance Manager/Office Administrator

Natalie, Anthony’s daughter, aspired to a career in fashion after high school.  She graduated from fashion school (Brooks College) in Long Beach, CA.  Upon graduation, she returned home to work as a buyer and optometrist assistant at the local Optometrist office.  Her father came to her asking for assistance in the office.  She agreed to help temporarily, but little did she know that 16 years later she would still be working in the office at the company.  She recently accepted the Finance Manager role because of her interest in the business.  When she set out on her path for a career, she didn’t envision herself  dealing in the world of finance, but is now interested in this field, and taking on a larger role in the company.

Curt Schmidt

Shop Manager/Dispatcher

Curt has recently took over as the Shop Manager at the beginning of December 2018.  Before coming to Anthony Peters Trucking, Curt started as a farmer where he was a laborer and worked in the family business at a very young age.  Curt came on board in 1984 at Anthony Peters Trucking.  He has acted as squeeze operator, filled in as a driver and assisted Anthony in the shop while he was on vacation.  Curt has learned the business from the ground up, and his promotion was well-deserved.  He has hit the ground running since taking over the role, and has already contributed and made contributions as the Shop Manager.
